During the POEMA project (Project for Opposing Early MArriages), GTV, in collaboration with local authorities and teachers, identified the 40 young individuals most at risk of early marriages and school dropout in the two targeted secondary schools of the project.

In addition to organizing training and awareness sessions with the parents of these young people, GTV informed, monitored, and provided financial support to these more vulnerable families, encouraging them to ensure continuity in the education of their sons and daughters.

Economic poverty has a significant impact on the family's decision to push for early marriage. To these beneficiary families, educational materials, as well as animals (goats and pigs) and seeds according to individual needs, were distributed.

Parents and young individuals expressed happiness and gratitude for the assistance received.
The materials will prove to be very useful both in improving the income of the families and contributing to the education of the youth.
