Each year, thanks to the child sponsorship program, we are able to support children and families in need. This project does not only ensure access to education for children in northern Vietnam, but also provides concrete support to their families, schools, and the wider community in which they grow up.

Thanks to this broad and meaningful intervention, we are able to distribute 120 kg of rice per family every year, helping to ensure an adequate and balanced diet.

In this regard, the first rice distribution of the new year was completed in March 2026. From 22 to 24 March, GTV, together with 8 volunteers from the University of Law in Hanoi, distributed rice to children for a total of 7,260 kg, intended for 121 students (including rice for Chan Minh Xuan, who received 60 kg for the month of March alone).

The rice distributed so far represents half of the overall planned target. The second phase of distribution is scheduled for the second half of the year, during which the remaining objectives will be achieved.

In the coming months, further initiatives within the sponsorship program (SAD) will also be carried out, including the provision of school supplies and the coverage of tuition fees to guarantee the right to education, annual medical check-ups to protect children’s health, and the organization of summer camps to promote the right to play and leisure time.
