Schools projects
We are living in a complex world where the global interconnections are increasingly evident and affect the everyday life of all the people. In this context, for GTV is essential that the citizenship of Trento, and in particular the students, are trained and informed about the role that they have to play as world’s citizens. GTV offers 4 educational paths for the schools, each one focused on a different goal that GTV is pursuing in Vietnam and that is related with a specific UN Sustainable Development Goal.

Drop by drop - Clean water, SDG6
Recommended age: all the classes of medium and primary school
Duration: 2 meetings each one of 2 hours
GTV has developed this educational path with the purpose of raising the awareness of the youth about the importance of water and of the topics that are related with that (e.g. the hygiene, …). This project is composed by follow-up meetings, presentations and activities such as role plays and simulations. These activities aim to help the participants understand and analyse the significance of the role that each one of them can play in preserving the heart’s water resources.

The Heron’s Tale - Quality education, SDG4
Recommended age: primary school’s children
Duration: 2 meetings each one of 1 hour
The goal of the educational path “the Heron’s Tale” is to introduce the primary school’s students to the theme of the right to a high-quality education for the children from all over the world. GTV wants the kids living in Trento to understand the situation that many children in other countries are living and the difficulties they are facing. GTV will introduce and explain to the students its program of Child Sponsorship that helps many Vietnamese children to improve their access to quality education.

Khe-Roba! – Sustainable tourism, SDG8
Recommended age: all the classes of medium and high schools
Duration: 2 meetings each one of two hours
This educational path refers to the theme of responsible tourism with a focus on the Vietnamese situation. In the first part of the program the students will be introduced to the themes related to the sustainability and to the impact that mass tourism has on ecosystems and local populations. The second meeting will be more interactive, the participants will play at a game called KHE ROBA which consists of a revisited version of the famous Monopoli. The purpose of the game is to reward the ones who will be able to get richer in a sustainable way, the goal of this activity is to raise the awareness of the participants about the importance that their individual choices play in this topic.

Hoa, tale of a healer – Biodiversity, SDG15
Recommended age: children of the primary school
Duration: 2 meeting each one of two hours
This program realized for the classes of the primary schools is focused on the theme of the protection of ecosystems. The children will watch “Hoa, tale of a healer” which is a GTV and Altrove Films’ production, this movie wants to communicate the importance of biodiversity and it is focused on the linkage between the concept of variety and the one of wellness. The movie also has the goal to inform the participants about Vietnam and its traditional medicine.
The other parts of the program will be centered on some activities and presentations, on the themes of biodiversity and protection of the forests, that aim for the children to get know better these complex subjects.
These 4 educational paths are simply our proposal and they can be reviewed according to the necessities and the age of the participants.
The GTV staff is completely available to create a new program based on the specific needs of students, teachers and schools.
