Civil service is an opportunity to concretely participate in the solidarity construction of the reality in which we live, making our energies and ideas available, while enriching our personal baggage of knowledge and skills, with the guarantee of minimal economic autonomy.
GTV has been offering this opportunity to young people, providing 2/3 places per year within specific civil service projects and making use of the collaboration of young people. It is also thanks to this contribution that GTV can carry out the activities in the territory of Trentino.

Who can access to civil service?
The civil service can be promoted at the provincial or national level, in order to participate in the civil service it is necessary:
- To be 18 years old and not over 28 years of age (28 years and 364 days);
- To be an Italian citizen living in Italian territory;
- To be a foreigner, providing he/she has been living in the province of Trento for at least two years and has a residence permit;
- not to report criminal convictions;
- all the requirements of the call.
How long does it last?
Projects have a variable duration, but overall cannot exceed 12 months. Even the weekly hourly commitment is not defined, it depends on the individual project; on average, the youth is engaged for about 30 hours a week on 5 or 6 days and has 20 days of leave (in one year of service).
What benefits can be obtained?
Civil service is an opportunity to get closer to an organizational reality, to experience your attitudes and get involved by learning to do something concrete. In addition to general training on the civil service, there will be other training in the field of implementation of the project.
Those who choose to participate in the civil service will receive 433.80 euros per month and at the end of the project, a certificate of participation will be released (which can be used in some universities for the recognition of educational credits).
Civil Service with Youth Guarantee?
Calls for members of the Youth Guarantee program are published during the year.
