After working for a year on the themes of combating early marriages and the right to education, GTV organized the concluding events of the POEMA project between February 1st and 4th, 2024, in the four target villages.

These rural villages, part of the municipality of Coc Pai (Xin Man,Ha Giang), inhabited by ethnic minorities, saw various training sessions on these topics organized throughout 2023.

The final events, open to all villagers, provided another opportunity to raise public awareness about children's rights, reaffirming the importance of education and preventing early marriages.

Students from Lien Viet School, who had themselves been trained on this topic through bi-weekly meetings at their school since October 2024, participated in these events by presenting theatrical performances they had devised to provoke reflection on the issue of early marriages. These performances were warmly received by the local community. This interactive approach proved highly effective in conveying messages about preventing early marriages and children's rights to the village inhabitants, giving voice to those directly affected by this phenomenon.

Representatives from the Coc Pai municipality were also invited to speak on the project's themes, providing valuable insights and perspectives on these important issues. Additionally, invitations were extended to journalists, encouraging them to write articles in the local press, thus amplifying the message's reach.

To attract a larger number of participants, the events included musical performances and food buffets.

The four events saw a total participation of 220 people, who demonstrated interest and active interaction with local authorities, GTV staff, and the local population.
