On Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the S. Pio X Oratory in Trento, the annual Vietnamese Solidarity Dinner, organized by the volunteers of GTV, took place once again. This year, the community responded with great enthusiasm, with over 100 attendees, including 23 volunteers, for an evening dedicated to solidarity, good food, and sharing.

Thanks to the dinner, we raised €2,850 from participation fees and the small market, which will support the activities promoting Child Sponsorship Program (SAD) and educational initiatives linked to the project “SEMI di SAD – Growing Educating Communities through Sponsorship”.

During the evening, participants enjoyed typical Vietnamese dishes carefully prepared by the volunteers, such as Bánh Gối (fried dumplings stuffed with meat), Phở bò (beef noodle soup), Suon non kho dưa cải (braised pork ribs with cabbage), Đậu hũ chiên sốt cà chua (fried tofu with tomato sauce, fresh herbs, and rice), and Bánh chuối nướng (banana and coconut cake).

The dinner was further enriched by a photographic exhibition and the screening of previously unseen mini-documentaries made by GTV volunteer videomakers Anna and Jacopo in the Xin Man District. The images and stories provided an authentic glimpse into the daily lives of families and children involved in the sponsorship projects, inspiring reflections on the values of solidarity and international cooperation.
