This year’s GTV Charity Dinner was a success once again!

On Saturday, October 26, a large crowd gathered at the San Pio X Parish Hall to spend an evening dedicated to solidarity and a shared love for Vietnam.

The event welcomed over 80 participants, including long-time supporters and new friends of our association. Guests enjoyed famous fried spring rolls, Pho soup, tofu, and spiced stew, paired with excellent wine and traditional desserts from Trentino generously donated by local pastry shops and bakeries.

The evening provided an opportunity to share the results and outline the next steps of the "Food Security for Families and Preschools in Ban Ngo and Nam Dan" project, which is currently underway in the Xin Man District, Vietnam, thanks to funding from the state-managed Otto per Mille program and the Gino Lunelli Foundation. For the occasion, GTV volunteers prepared and screened an informational video about this project, now available on YouTube.

A significant portion of the evening was also dedicated to presenting GTV's other initiatives, including the Child Sponsorship Program and Responsible Travels, accompanied by a photo slideshow featuring images captured by travelers who recently returned from Vietnam.

All of this was made possible by the efforts of 24 volunteers, who worked in shifts starting days in advance to set up the venue, prepare presentations, test the menu, source ingredients, and cook the delicious Vietnamese dishes served at the event.

The evening also raised approximately €2,000, which will help GTV continue its work in Southeast Asia.
